This time I think I have found a really unusual site which needs to be seen to be believed.

Uniqueprojects is a novel site that will show you to make some fascinating things.

It's not practical to make everything that you need, but most of us involved with crafts or hobbies realize that the few items that you do make on your own are much more meaningful and valuable than anything else.

It’s a great place to visit whether you are a beginning, intermediate or advanced do-it-yourselfer.

The plans are intriguing, innovative and free!

The breadth of projects is impressive: from woodworking to papercraft and from simple ideas to challenging undertakings.

Their sortable projects list includes their entire archive of free project plans. You will find toys, gifts, organizers, workshop items, games, fabric projects, decorating ideas and much more.

Most importantly, their stuff is unique and you are unlikely to find it anywhere else!.

They also have an extensive section which addresses issues ranging from design to uniqueness to doing-it-yourself. Through several articles, they urge users to focus their attention on the process of creating items and less so on the items themselves.

Even though you may not have the time to dive into all of their projects, it's fun just to see and learn from the creative ideas and techniques that they invent.

Each plan includes detailed descriptions, pictures, drawings and sometimes even animations.

Uniqueprojects also explains the concepts behind a design; that way you can customize a design without fear of running into problems: they outline all of the things to consider before you incorporate any changes

This is an amazing site that will capture your interest; the quality, variety and creativity of the new projects that are continuously being added will make you want to return again and again, but don’t take my word for it – take a look for yourself.

I originally reviewed this site many years ago and, although it is still up and running and offering the same impressive selection of FREE project plans, they appear to have changed their format somewhat and no longer send out their newsletter.

In my opinion, the new format is not as user friendly;  in fact, it took me a a while to find where the instructions were located.  I felt rather silly when I found I just had to scroll down in order to see them but I had been clicking the Step1, Step 2 etc., which is found at the bottom of the screen.

This is really just a warning that you have to scroll down the page (past the adverts) to see all the relevant parts.  In this instance we should be able to excuse all the ads, as they are providing a very good FREE service which has to be covered somehow.
