Fuel conversions from Litres (ltr) to Gallons and gallons to litres

Whether it is to find out just how much we are now paying for petrol / gas or how many miles a car does to the gallon, there is often the need to convert litres to gallons or gallons to litres, hopefully, the following chart will make this a little easier.

To add to the confusion UK and US gallons are different; there are approximately 4.55 litres in a UK gallon but only 3.79 in a US gallon.
